Hummingbird feeder is an award winning design (2004) by a juried Artisan has
previously only been available in a museum, a few gift shops and Art and
Craft Shows in Illinois. The feeders, while similar, are individually built
with a freehand plasma cutter, hand pounded, hand shaped using 100% copper
and new and recycled bottles. The tendrils and leaves are clear coated to
retain the copper color variations from the 50,000 degree cutting heat. The
hook, vine, tube and perch are 100% copper and may be cleaned or allowed to
patina naturally.
These feeders have been used
and tested for the past 4 years by the artist and many customers. Just
remove the stopper and feeding flower for easy filling and quick cleaning.
Each feeder comes with tips, instructions and a simple recipe for making
your own nectar.
The 100% copper matching hook is included
to hang your feeder by the window from your gutter or eve.
